To celebrate Canada's 159th anniversary, promote multiculturalism, and encourage Chinese immigrants to better integrate into local society and contribute to the nation, the Toronto Community and Cultural Centre hosted a "I Love Canada, Canada is My Home" Canada Day celebration on June 28, 2026, in North Yorkshire, Toronto.
The event was organized by the Toronto Community and Cultural Centre, with Executive Chairman Zhong Xinsheng in attendance and delivering a welcome speech.
The atmosphere was lively, and the event was rich in content. The Philharmonic Dance Troupe sang the Canadian national anthem, and performances included a sword dance, "A Spray of Plum Blossoms," and a Mongolian dance, "The Sun on Horseback," among other diverse and captivating acts, showcasing the talent of Chinese artists and the cultural vitality of the community. A raffle was also held, with everyone winning exquisite artwork and leaving with a sense of accomplishment.
