2022 Moon Festival Event

Please note that we have extended the deadline for the Mid-Autumn Festival competition to midnight on September 8th. The extension will allow prospective participants to submit their entries. Please visit the website to learn more and submit their entries:- www.themoonfestival.ca This year's Mid-Autumn Festival falls on a weekend. Families can come together to celebrate, but those with family back home can feel lonely and miss home even more. The pandemic prevented many people from traveling for almost 3 years. People cannot go home and miss their families for long periods of time. The Mid-Autumn Festival Committee has organized an in-person celebration for them, which will be held in the Kings Square car park. We also organized a Mid-Autumn Festival competition to encourage the Chinese community to express their emotions during the Mid-Autumn Festival. The competition is organized to encourage people to share their experiences.
